@CosmoSix5 nice one!! Love sda's workshirt cut. Fits me good too.
-
@CosmoSix5 do you think the dye will react much with sunlight? I’m very intrigued.
-
@Anesthetist i've been wearing mine 4-5x a week and haven't noticed much of anything. wear spots like back of wrists, elbows starting to fade to a very feint light blue/grey.
-
@dugafola post some pics when you have a second, sounds really cool. Where did you source it?
-
@Anesthetist i will post some soon. i got it from Denimio. it took 3 days from japan to california.

I picked up this 13oz jacquard shirt this week to see what’s what with SDA. I really love the grey/blue hue it reminds me of the overdyeing process. It has a firm textured denim like hand and you can feel the threads in the check sections.
I was nervous on sizing because Dant said their model was 167 lb wearing a size 42, and me 30 lbs heavier was looking at measurements and it was the same size.

-
@jordanscollected looks amazing. And sda sizing is definetely more western.
-
@FlavourFade thank you and yes, very generous through the midsection.
-
@jordanscollected great looking shirt. I only have one of their sweatshirts but I think their quality is top notch. Nice pick up!
-
@SKT thanks Sean. The goal was to choose a color I wouldn’t tire of.
-
@jordanscollected you kind of have me thinking…and if you can wear a 42 maybe a 40 would work for me…hmm
-
@SKT 40 easy for you.
-
@jordanscollected perfect fit man. Plus, that style is a banger!!
-
This is my 14 oz workshirt. Fits a little big in a 44 but that means I can hot soak it and it's very comfortable. I love the denim and after two weeks of total wear I can tell you it's a fast fader.
Edit: in a 42 I assume shoulders and sleeves would be too snug

I dont need another denim shirt
I dont need another denim shirt
I dont need another denim shirt
But damn that’s a nice one!
Maybe I do need another denim shirt….

Grabbed this one today and should be en route. Will report back with look and feel. Fox cotton twill.

@jfk1117 do you have a history with the SDA work shirt cut?
With mine, it’s quite a bit roomier in the midsection with a more generous opening than my IH work shirts. It took a bit of getting used to, but I really like it overall.
-
@jordanscollected yes have a few. I find I can go one of two routes. A 42 which fits more standard in areas off the rack but be more “cropped” in length, which I don’t mind with some heavier fabrics or the 44 which is roomier but more length appropriate etc. I have also found with the 44 that if I wash and do a brief dryer finish when mostly dry from air, I can get the shrink I need. Then it’ll never see the dryer again.
