Phone call from a friend at 08:00 this morning.  "The Mackerel are in", I jumped in car with rod.  Freezer now full of delicious fish…..

I tell you, at times, if you ran up and down the beach you could catch them in your hands when they go seriously crazy.  What they do is herd the bait fish against the shore and then swim like shit through the bait.  Being fish of little brains, that means that sometimes they swim right up onto the beach…...
