Artemas Quibble
-
A few months ago a designer friend of mine told me to check out the leather goods at Artemas Quibble. I had heard of them before and knew they had a NYC presence but found their atelier is 10 minutes from us….a worldwide brand in our backyard!
After some emails, they let me come to the shop and explore their buckle line and leather choices. Jason Ross, the designer behind the brand designs a lot of pieces from architectural salvage in his collection. Super unique stuff.
I ended up really liking the Walker belt and picked one up. If you look on their site, A$AP Rocky is wearing a similar belt. Undoubtedly trying to be like me….Jason and his wife Natasha are great folks to work with and are incredibly knowledgable. Both have backgrounds in fashion (Donna Karan was a huge client for years) and now are running their own business here in StL. Their client list is epic and their pieces have been in GQ, Esquire, Vogue, and even a JMM ad or two. I asked Jason’s permission to post a couple of pics and he obliged. I hope he joins here to tell his story, he is a really cool guy.

A shop pic and some other really unique buckles.

Jason’s key ring design that I will be buying next.
Thought yall would appreciate his pieces, they’re super responsive to emails if you have any questions. -

@goosehd so happy to share their story.
Eventually the leather on my belt will look like the belt on this random handsome gentleman (obviously not my photo, prob styled by George Cortina)

My belt styled on a less handsome gentleman

Nice! They sure make a pretty belt. Apparently the stylists for GQ love to use em. https://www.gq.com/story/artemas-quibble-belts-interview
