@Mizmazzle
Ty man. May gotten little too emotional posting shortly after put on my jacket. But super stoked on the pin -
@Tago-Mago I have to say the greatest part of the forum is meeting the people we know and love in person. Being able to put face, name, voice, and share some laughter with is the best part of being here.
I went from hesitant to going to can’t wait to see you guys again!
-
@meatmarketdenim1 no way man. Human connection stems from vulnerability.
It’s coming up on one year in March that I lost one of my best friends of 27 years, too. Talking about them is the most important thing. -

You’re def right, And sorry for you loss man. Grief is so tough and never fully goes away. Just learn how to handle it better and still comes in waves. But then all the good memories pop up as well

I suffer from RBF
-
@northsouthdenimguy you’ve been around long enough to know must of us have that condition. How many of us actually are smiling

-
-
@goosehd I have RBF too... Still post myself though
I feel the happiest looking member of the forum is @denim-dawg
(I would be too if I lived where he lives) -
@Twistlock you made me jump in the 34 today. Impeccable coat, so happy I snagged it in the outlet.

We all do. If I may speak for myself, I'm not so much interested in your clothes, but in you and your lives. I know the clothes, of course, but what I've gotten to know about the people here over the years is extraordinary. You don't need to see faces for that, ok. But you know what I mean. Just my two (euro) cents.
-
I don't particularly like pictures of myself (especially not looking straight at the camera, smiling, hence I'm always looking one way or t'other) but I found the pictures look odd if I blank my face out. So you get to see it, for better or worse.
-
I think it’s something you get used to, although I’m sure we all have moments when we see a different person looking back at us from pictures than the one we’re used to seeing in the mirror. Possibly the same thing with our voices. I dictate a lot at work and when I started it was very uncomfortable hearing the playback. Now I’m fine with it.
