hope you & arrow's boot goes into production. that would be kind of like a big deal.
when can you release more details in the event i decide to sit out the above indy's.
it's always great to support folks making moves on the forum :).

Not sure also about the status of the boots, Pete. Sure hope it pushed through the decision making tree.
Alden kinda has their own schedule and would modify orders without proper notifications. On another note, I haven't been able to stop wearing my Suede Chukka boots.
I just love how they are so comfortable yet very light. I would really recommend folks to try them -
especially wearing them in warm weather months.I'm also thinking of having my Black Indys resoled with Goodyear sole.
I'll have to drop by the Alden SF shop to see how this process works. -
also don't like the laces paired with it but i see why they did… easy to change, though.
Agreed.. After I broke my waxed laces, I got some thin leather laces. I wasn't too sure at first, but now I'll never go back. They should look pretty good with natural, especially as the shoes age.
Quick and dirty pic of one…

I just got leather laces for my 405's as well. After having them 2 days one of my stock laces broke. Alden NY sent me replacements stock laces and a set of leather laces.

Thanks Beats and Jimmy.. I wasn't too keen on them since they wouldn't stay tied, but then I watched the "life changing" video Giles posted awhile back about how to properly tie a pair of shoes. I haven't had to stoop down and retie them since

I know it is really pitiful, but that video really did change my life…...Why was I not taught how to do that at age 5?
I probably showed 25 people how to do it. A couple had already seen it, but most stood in awe
