      Hi!

Im new to this page so my apologies if this is the wrong place to post. I am looking to get my first pair of IH jeans, but I live in Norway, so I am not able to go and test models in person. I am looking for models from other well known brands, eg Levis, Lee, Diesel, etc. that are similar cut to Iron Heart, so that I can go to a shop and try them on. What im looking for is basically «The Levis XXXX is very similar cut to IH 555. The Lee YYYY is very similar cut to IH 777». Obviously it wont be perfect, but some pants just straight up dont fit my body type, so trying on some jeans with kind of a similar fit, would go a long way for me!

      Thanks alot.

@Dustkillah Very hard question to answer and your best place to start is by reading here to dial in what you like in Iron Heart’s offerings:

        https://ironheart.co.uk/pages/our-core-cuts

        and here:

        https://ironheart.co.uk/pages/cut-comparison

Then after you have a good idea of what you like or have a pair of jeans that you like, measure your jeans like this video:

        https://forum.ironheart.co.uk/topic/5619/video-how-to-measure-jeans-and-pants-the-iron-heart-method

Once you have that information, then we can give you more advice as to what may work with what you’re looking for.

This sounds like a needlessly labor intensive way to go about this, to me! One of the beauties of Iron Heart as a brand is the comprehensive published measurements. Take a pair of pants you already love, measure the the Iron Heart way, compare what you get to some charts, and you’ll be all set. Customer service is also second to none, so you can get help from the crew if you need to find specific measurements once you narrow down what cut you want.

Thank you for your replies. I have a few tighter slim/skinny fit jeans, which is not what im looking for anymore. My two favorite pairs measure up similarly, one being the Diesel 1986 larkee-beex. Measurements are:

            Waist 90cm
            Front rise 26
            Back rise 41
            Inseam 74
            Thigh 28
            Hem 18

The problem is that the back rise is abt 15 cm higher than the front rise. I dont find anything similar in IH. Thus, I would need to find a new type of cut, that I might also like. Mby a 9-10cm discrepancy between rises will also fit, but I dont have pants like that to compare to, so I was thinking of going to a store and try on different pants to see. Hence my question. But I will try to come up with another way!

I feel you on wanting a larger ratio of front/back rise. The 463 from IH is magical, but has only seen smaller releases in 21oz denim.
