When I bought this in 2011 on CD, I had no clue about their back catalogue and roots in death metal. Produced by Steven Wilson it appeared like prog rock. Wasn’t convinced at this time. Nowadays a blast from the past.

This was sitting on my desk for some time. It’s an original version of Zeit (Time) from 1972.
Electronic music was a niche market at this time.
When it came out in Germany, a color TV cost a third of a VW Beetle and the Moog synthesizer around one half. Neither of them were floating around in large numbers.Wasn’t expecting such a great vinyl sound.
In the end this is dark, dystopic and disputable.„Maybe the best way to listen to this music is the way DJ John Peel approached it.
