@V-P I have noticed this on my 33-T. I’m new to this world so wasn’t sure if this was a normal occurrence?
I wouldn’t say it annoys me as such but it definitely caught my eye. -
@GreenMan Thank you man! My first denim shirt/jacket!
-
@Giles I get the roll up to some degree on other shirts too but this one came with it from the start and it was more pronounced. I was thinking that the shrinking from the OD process inceased it and it completely disappeared when I stretched the shirt. It also gained about ½" in length (TWSS).
-
How wearable is this indoors on a cold winter day? Or should I really be thinking of this as a jacket substitute.
-
@samuellschulman very wearable IMO but all depends on how and where you living. I’m central coast of California and wear it comfortably from hi 60s on down.
-
@samuellschulman perfectly useable as just a shirt with a tee underneath. That is how i wear mine most of the time.
-
@samuellschulman I use it more as an overshirt. The 18oz is a hefty stuff and for my personal taste it feels more like a jacket than a shirt.
But most seem to feel different. Anyhow it's a great shirt and if you have the room I can also recommend to wear it over a hoodie or even a UHF. Looks brilliant.

@Domi. I was wondering about exactly this. My Sexcpood feels more like a jacket and my Wabash CPO feels more like a shirt. I subconsciously put the Wabash in my bedroom closet and my Sexcpood in the main floor closet along with my other jackets. I thought the 293 may have been closer to a shirt but now I’m guessing it’s more jacket. This is interesting stuff to me in any case.

-
@Chibs Yeah I did the same with my 293. Never came to my mind to put it in my bedroom closet among my other shirts.
-
I’ll chime in as a new owner of this piece … I wore mine out last night to dinner and then a house warming party. I wore it over a heavy weight 1600 Crm tee and it was perfectly wearable the whole time. I’d say it’s a great all rounder and I can picture using it as a shirt in winter months (Southern Ontario Canada) and a jacket in the shoulder seasons.
What’s really surprised me most is just how comfortable it is. It definitely has some heft to it, but it’s also quite soft and pliable. The hand feel of this denim is just incredible.
I realize I’m in the honeymoon phase, but man do I ever love this shirt!
-
I’ve been wearing this daily as a shirt, I think it works well. It’s not particularly stiff so I think it’s comfortable
-
This might be it. I love the idea of wearing it cozy inside, unbotton if needed. Then snap it back up and head outside.
-
@samuellschulman Yea, that’s where I’m at with today’s science experiment.

-
@Chibs looks stellar! Comfy?
-
@samuellschulman Actually yea. Not quite as much as my 12oz Wabash cpo but it’s not near as cumbersome as I thought it would be. Threw a down vest over top and I’m totally fine in 1°C. Overall today’s science proved I can wear this CPO a lot more. I can see the 293 being softer, even better in that regard.
