IHSH-433-RED - Heavy Flannel Rider’s Overshirt - Red
-
I was thinking it would be cool to layer this over a CPO - All my CPO's are size Small and I can't decide if I should stick with that for the 433 or size down to XS. The chest measurement in a small is almost 23 inches for the 433 and my average sweet spot on the CPO and UHF is 21-21.5. What do you all think?
-
@the_indigodevil - if you want to layer over a CPO you're likely going to need that extra space from your normal sweet spot chest measurement, so that 22.8" might be necessary for that sort of layering.
remember that the rider's overshirt is a different silhouette entirely. it's meant to be more relaxed through the chest, waist, and opening.

And done…

Yep, I’m in trouble now.

Look amazing, but I will not layer this beautiful piece. All my IH Shirts are XXXL, look at the size chart I thing xl is the right size for normal wearing with a t-shirt under ? !
-
had to get in again. Pre Christmas treat. You know that way when you kinda justify it.....but don't really have to. Speaks for itself.....this is the one I really wanted. Just so happens a few other pieces got in the way first!

I was too late to the party and they were all sold out, but thankfully Ironshop Provisions had 1 medium left. I totally got the time wrong with the different time zone.
-
Still have sizes available for those who missed out!

After picking up a few other things, this will be the one that I miss out on and regret. Just like the orange slub 399 flannel last year.
They sure are selling out quick. -
I couldn't resist... Watermelon and this shirt for the win this season. The yellow is the best part on it.
-
This and the N1 khaki lightweight were the 2 things I wanted the most just happy to get them both.

Was looking for help with sizing. I normally wear an XL in everything Iron Heart. 6'2" 180 lbs. But not sure if I should go L or M on this item. The sleeve length is what is getting me. Can anyone help. Thanks.
-
Personally I wouldn't ever jump two sizes. This is meant to be roomier, but even then I wouldn't skip down from XL to M. Each to their own.
I wear Large in UHF's and went to Medium for the Green check overshirt, but it's a diff cut and it's not easy to directly compare. M was smaller than I thought, even though the measurements might have indicated otherwise. Ok for me though. But I would never ever have got away with S for instance.Have to stress, it's a personal thing, but I wouldn't be going from XL to M.

@jjwoody13
I went with my normal size (XL). My concern was that the sleeves would be too short if I sized down. I’ll know later today once it’s delivered. -
@Stringthing75 thank you... very helpful
-
@pjroo33 thank you and keep my posted.

@jjwoody13 hey mate, I tried sizing down 2 sizes (L) on my first attempt of an overshirt and I had to send it back. On my next attempt I just went a single size down (XL) which dimensionally was still larger than my regular XXL size and it fits perfectly. Have you tried the compare function on their site?
I find it very handy[link text](
