@SKT I only dyed the white 1600. The green and black one are OG and just for reference.

I just used luke warm tap water to mix the dye and fill the bucket. Then I machine washed on warm after the dying was complete. I was a little worried about shrink, but I noticed none.

@Mizmazzle good to know. I had toyed with dyeing the cord shirt but worried it would take super hot water and shrink an already snug shirt.

@SKT the instructions call for a Hot wash post dye job...I wasn't brave enough to risk that. But it seems all came out nicely. Dharma has great instructions...plus the practice on a old shirt method helps remove some anxiety.

Got an unknown stain on the medium pink dye job I did a while ago that just wouldn't come out so I went a little nuclear on it and used the remaining half bottle of dye. The stain is still there (mf'er) but much less noticable.

Spilt coffee on my cream 1501, so I embraced it and dyed it “espresso brown”. Pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Made another indigo vat yesterday using Jacquard indigo.

I’m curious about the coffee stain. It wouldn’t come out in the laundry?

@Oaktavia you win! That vat dye job looks so good, love the variation of indigo intensity. I’d be really nervous to try with an IH tee in case I f*cked up

@Mizmazzle yeah it just a bit solider and in quite a prominent spot down the front. Washing got like 90% of the stain out, but seemed to bake the other 10% in. Gave me an excuse for a dye project

I put the shirts in the vat all scrunched up so they have a subtle tie dye look. Gives it a hand dyed appearance.

This one was fun. It started bright red when new. First, I dyed it green using a Dylon dye pod. From there, I tie dyed it using Jacquard indigo dye. I think it was dunked about five times in two separate indigo vats.
