@louisbosco I have been using DXO for quite some time. Do a 30 day trial and see if you like it. www.dxo.com

@Jett129 nice!! have you heard of on1 raw as well?
-
@louisbosco I have not.

Anybody else hyped for the recently announced RICO GR IV mono?
-
@Indigo-Alchemist yes , I saw the reports too. For sure it is a very interesting camera, especially for street photography. Since 2014 I have the Leica M9 Monochrom and it is still a joy to use when you are in the mood for only b/w. These niche cameras are pretty cool but I think as your only camera you are a bit limited.
Here a photo with the Monochrom

@Marc2706 , I have an M10 as my go-to camera but have always been curious about the dynamic range of a pure mono sensor but did not wanted to spend the money on a Leica for pure mono that’s where I see the GR mono as a perfectly priced tool.

@Indigo-Alchemist congrats to. The M10. To me it is the most beautiful and reliable Leica M camera. Also the used Monochrome cameras like the M 240 are still expensive. Did you know that there is also a monochrome cameras like the from Pentax? But it is ugly in comparison to the GR

I recently traded in my trusty m246 of ten+ years along with its m240 sibling to get an m11p and couldn't be happier. I loved the 246 so much, but dynamic range wasn't really anything super noticable to me compared to the color version. Sure, there was an extra stop in the shadows to pull out but the highlights were gone in an instant if you aren't careful. The resolution and high iso capability on the other hand were impressive. In addition to those things, the other thing I truly miss is just the whole mono experience from needing to see light, using color filters on occasion, and having an ultra simple work flow in post. Never having to worry about while balance as someone who is a little color blind is really nice

@Marc2706 the Pentax is really not the most beautiful camera you´re right there. If I would have more time I would prefer going back to film but with two young kids I simply have not time to develop the film and print it back home in a dark room which I would love to do at some point in the future. I had an old Leica M6 many years ago where I was developing the film myself and I enjoyed that process. I even still have my Sekonic Meter which just looks and works amazing. People always ask me what it is
Now I rarely get time to pull the images from the M10 memory card.
But rangefinders and generally the analog photography has a place in my heart. -
A few from the last few weeks. Mix of Hasselblad X1DII and Nikon Z8.

@Marc2706 thank you so much!

@Marc2706 Fantastic shots! I absolutely love my M10, but it too collects dust. I just brought it home from my studio so I can at least try to use it more at home.
