GOOD ART HLYWD - A Gallery

@Mister_Brue my wife was supposed to have for my Birthday (today), so I will have to find out
-
@hgering27 overboard yes, but it’ll last you a lifetime
-
@Mister_Brue yeah I kind of thought so too but now I want to get the Swiss Army knife and the baby barrel…
I actually have flipped it around since I took the above picture. It wears better flipped and I can’t wait for the ez slider
-
-
@Anesthetist oh definitely and I like how I can change it up if I want also. The shorty chain even fits me well as a bracelet if I felt inclined but already have a stack there too with some other goodart. The wallet was just a slippery slope
-
@hgering27 You need a long chain so that you don’t lose it in your pocket. I didn’t realise how small it was from the pictures (in a good way). Cutest little card holder I’ve seen.
It never ends…
-
@Mister_Brue yeah that’s why I actually flipped it around. It wasn’t sitting as well with the extension on the other side but this way it fits in my pocket and allows the chain to sit regularly. I’m a big fan. I had been wanting to work up to a chain wallet for a long time and I just kind of did it all pretty quickly once I got the wallet
-
@hgering27 you’ll have a long wallet soon as well. I can see the future!
-
@Anesthetist man the main reason I opted for the satchel is because I rarely carry much besides a few bills and a couple cards, but I definitely can’t count out the long wallet… it’s so damn nice
-
I've fallen down a slippery here with GAH, I can see myself going wild on these, lovely wallets/chains both of you... @hgering27 @Mister_Brue
-
@hgering27 I did the same thing. Satchel, shorty, slider…then Army Navy wallet! I rotate them by season. I dont really need the long one bc the satchel is about perfect but I love them both.

curious question for anyone who may have the pequeno mano chain... I currently where a 24" PM chain and a ball chain I cut to about 21.5" I am trying to decide between another ball chain or getting a 4a curb chain to put rondels on with the initials of my soon to be born daughter... my conundrum is I dont know if I will like how the two 24" chains layer, so my thought is that if I went curb 4a, I could theoretically clip a couple links off the PM if i didnt love the way they stacked, but was curious if anyone has cut the PM links and how that worked out? it definitely seems doable, but wanted to see if anyone had experience.
-
@AdamJ I work with automotive tools/equipment and I have some very good cutting pliers that should do the trick
-
@hgering27 Awesome, keen to see how it looks!
-
@AdamJ its a much more expensive risk than with the ball chain, so I want to see if anyone has any experience trying it first. Otherwise I may just take the safe route and get the ball chain. I just dont know if I will love how 2, 24" chains each with rondels on them will look stacked
-
@hgering27 I think you're right with the idea that a 21" chain and 24" chain works better so they have some room to breathe. Both being the same length with the addition of pendants might make it look a bit too busy
-
@AdamJ yeah so if I get a 24" ball chain I can clip it so itll be between the current ball chain I have and the pequeno. I am ok with overlap I just dont want it to be crazy
