Y'2 Leathers….

@mecken88 looking amazing, can't wait to get mine
Have you noticed noticeable "shrink" as the jacket evolves? I remember TJ mentioning it.
Cheers,
-
@tvaillant75 yes actually quite a bit, most in the arms because of the creases and fold making them shorter.
The leather molds forms to you body so ever so slightly shorter in the body too but not as much as the arms.
It’s a great leather and I’m eager to see if it continues to change over time -
@mecken88 great to hear, so no major tightening in the shoulders?
Please keep posting your journey with it!
-
@tvaillant75 not so significant shoulder shrinking, more that they form, mold and become less stiff and boxy and more figure forming.
They “relax” and drape more than when the jacket was brand new.
No problem will probably just continue to post over the months of wear -
Mind blowing experience at Y’2 Leather today… It was such a pleasure to hang out with Takao and immerse ourselves in the sights and smells of their Company Store. Very cool to see the signed jackets from Jason Momoa & Orlando Bloom hanging in the shop.
I picked up the TB-141 Type II in Camel Steer Roughout, as well as the BG-16 Coin Wallet & BG-09 Waist Bag in Indigo Horsehide.
Wifey got properly decked out as well with the LC-04 Casquette Hat in Camel Aniline Horsehide, BG-16 Sacoche Bag in Kakishibu Scar Horsehide, and YG-01 Short Gloves in Camel Deerskin.
If you are a fan of the Y’2 brand, I cannot overstate how much I recommend prioritizing a visit to their shop!

@FlavourFade she is definitely my better half
@ZackB thanks brother! I went in thinking I wanted a horsehide double riders jacket, but when they pulled out this beauty in my size I couldn’t resist the softness and feel of it. My wife thought I looked goofy af in the HR-55 and I tend to agree
@derek111 thanks amigo!

@SourPower haha I feel the same way about the double rider on me. The type 2 looks great though!
