IHSH-425-BLK - 8oz Military Whipcord CPO Shirt - Black
Our yokeless western CPO shirt, cut from 8oz Japanese whipcord. The origins of whipcord, or “jungle cloth,” are rooted in military apparel—a tightly woven fabric renowned for its durability and windproofing properties. The tough 8oz whipcord used to construct this shirt is woven using long-fibre combed yarns, creating a high-density, lightweight fabric with a smooth feel and silky appearance. As a CPO cut, this shirt offers a little more length in the body than our standard western cut, with oversized copper snap fastenings and additional hand-warmer pockets for versatility. For this model, we’ve chosen to omit the western-style front yokes and include only a straight rear yoke for a military-inspired, utilitarian look.

could anyone compare/contrast this fabric with the black moleskin for those of us choosing between the two? mainly in terms of the sheen and overall look of each. i think both of these are hard to judge online
-
compared to 426. thanks adam, this is helpful in deciding!

I would love for someone with more insight than me to help me decide between this and the Johnny Cash III…
-
quite a bit different other than the colorway. this is a cpo in whipcord w/ no yokes and copper snaps. Johnny cash is a colorfast denim western shirt.

I tried on both the Large and XL. While the Large looks better on me in terms of fit I do have tightness under my arm pits and when buttoned it pulls a little at the chest. The XL feels better but I feel like I’m swimming a bit in it. My question is, could I wash and dry the XL with any confidence of achieving a better fit?
