Y'2 Leathers….

@derek111 congratulations!....looks amazing, these jackets are so good
-
@derek111 man seeing this got me so hyped, mines in transit right now, Friday delivery, I cannot wait
-
For anyone interested in sizing, I went with a 42, which is the same size as my rough out chore. To no surprise, it fit boxy and a little big as TJ had mentioned it would, but after a day, things are already taking shape. This is after a bit of wear in the house for an evening and a dog walk. Really stoked on this thing.

@derek111 looks good man
-
@derek111 looks so dope man. I got the same size as my chore also so hoping it works out. This just got me so stoked
-
@hgering27 hell yah, you are gonna love it.
-
@derek111 fit looks great, that thing is going to look even better with some wear.
-
@derek111 looks amazing! I am thinking about sizing, would you mind sharing your height and weight for reference please?
-
@tvaillant75 no problem. I am 5'-10" and about 170lbs with a 40" chest and long torso. All my current IH shirts are large from UHFs and westerns to CPOs.
-
@derek111 looks fantastic!…..and size wise they start off a little oversized, but shrink down to fit pretty quickly. I thought mine was too big at first, but now it’s spot on
-
Absolutely incredible jacket. So happy with how it fits. I knew it would be incredible quality, but the color in person is just insane. Can’t wait for the weather to cool down
-
@hgering27 heck ya, congrats dude! Looking forward to seeing how it transforms for you.
-
@hgering27 love the jacket and your Instagram feed is always an inspiration, looking forward to some posts including the chore coat
-
@FlavourFade thanks man! Once this weather cools down a bit
-
Weather is starting to cool down (at least in the mornings) so I’ll take any chance I can to start wearing my chores

Quick update on my Y2/shop Vancouver chore jacket -
I have been wearing this thing a lot more recently......when I first got it, it felt slightly too big and I thought I had messed up with the sizing - but as Tj says in his videos, this jacket shrinks down to shape around your body, so it now feels great.
I was also a little unsure I could pull off a red leather jacket.....I loved the look of it, but felt it might be a bit too much for me. But I have to say, the colour and look of the leather has really grown on me over time. I thought it might be too bright, but as the base colour is camel (with the red on top) the colour is a lot deeper/rich than a bright red - and it is more of a sort of 'tomato' colour than London bus, which I love.....and little signs of the camel are already starting to show in some areas.
I have found the overall design just really works too - it has seven pockets in total (the hidden side hand warmer pockets are really great) and the bi swing back just gives more freedom of movement.....it is just a very comfortable jacket to wear.
Also I love the way it has a bit of a retro biker jacket look with the heavy zipper and bi swing back, but also (to me) has a bit of a retro 70s leather jacket thing going on at the same time (especially because of the uneven colour)......so it sort of falls somewhere between the two and I just love it more everytime I wear it.So anyway - I just wanted to say this one has probably become my favourite of all my leather jackets - it's very practical, comfortable to wear, but also has a lot of mojo to it too!
