I’ll disagree on principle just to be contrarian

I thought that’s what @endo and @pechelman were doing.

The Martin De Candre soap is very good, lathers easily and builds a nice foam cushion quickly. It should last a long time.
The smell is subtle and not overpowering which is good so it does not conflict with any aftershave you choose to use.
The only downside is the size of the jar opening, it is not quite as wide as the Saponificia Varesino tin jars. This makes working the brush into the top of the soap a bit more fiddly, nothing serious just obvious once you have got used to a larger jar aperture.

My current travel shaving setup. Miss my brush and soap but this sure packs better.

@68degreesorless I’ve always liked Jack Black stuff. Use their “Double-Duty Face Moisturizer” pretty much every day
-
@SKT yeah that is a good moisturizer. It was one of my first forays into the good stuff. My favorite is the kiehls facial fuel daily energizing moisturizer but golly it’s expensive. Been trying to find a poor man’s version for a while now.
-
@68degreesorless I haven’t tried the Kiehls. Does it have any spf? It’s been hard for me hard to find a face moisturizer with spf that doesn’t make me feel like I’m wearing straight up sunscreen. That’s why I’ve stuck with the jack black
-
@SKT no spf. To me, the spf ones don’t feel quite as luxuriously moist. I tell myself I’ll just apply spf separately but then I often just skip it. Since long term, the spf is probably more important than the moisture, I should probably go back to the combo.
