Congrats to all the IH (and others) winners this year!
On a side note; I feel like throwing in the towel. In four years I've never broke out of the top 50. I don't want to push my entry onto others and seem desperate but the community never seems to look my way. Are the studio pictures too sterile? Does my shirt not stand out in anyway? I live by the "just wear it" mantra for every comp and....I don't know.I'm not a competitive person by nature so it's weird I even let it get to me but it's like this every year. I spend the year really enjoying to community and the updates, not really thinking about placing after the finish line then...boom I see my stuff just fizzle out in the community vote and my morale follows suit.

@GTPowers I’ve always thought your fades were great and the shots were nice. I really like the black background. Was shocked last year your 19oz didn’t do better. Don’t let it get to you man. We’d be doin this anyways right? Just enjoy the community. That’s the key I think.

@Luijim78 @Davids_denim thank you both! It’s a strange sensation. I’ll be so fired up just to be a part of it once the Comps start but almost recoil over the voting and competition.
Your words are an encouragement to an end none of us have yet seen. I know I’ll look back at this words another day when I need them more and feel a duplicative buffering of my motivation.

@GTPowers Thanks for being honest and wearing your iron heart on your sleeve and in your kickass fades, my friend. Your dedication, wit, happy-go-lucky vibe that I get from you, plus the incredible effort you take into taking proper studio photos is raw and admirable. I love your naturals fades, and your updates and reels and I think you did an outstanding job on a shirt that takes its man to break open (at least to me). To me it’s the friendships, to see what others choose and get to explore vicariously other lives and brands and cuts that is the core. Plus it does in a way feel communal that we are all doing this for an entire year. The chance to really dig into one piece and see how far it can go is also really attractive. It’s also shocking in a way that these IH items are so well made that they can take whatever we throw at them, and it just makes them better. I loved how you had your “GTO” engraving, “Filthy” patch and snaps… plus the pen and lighter pocket fades are just stellar treasures.
You really brought your own style and energy into it, and that’s something I’ll always admire. Whatever’s next for you, I know it’ll be done with the same thought and style you brought here. Cheers to your next adventure, my friend — and hope to still see you around the fadesphere -
@denim-dawg thank you Jorn. I think recent transitions in my life have left me fairly isolated. I’m learning each day the difference between healthy solitude and toxic isolation. My time with this shirt fell oft in the isolation context. Therefore my feelings on the situation are seen through that lens. And those aren’t rose colored in any way. So the encouragement goes a thousand miles.

@Davids_denim Dang good! Extra points for really putting in the time.@GTPowers Great shirt! (Loved your XHSbb as well btw). I certainly enjoy your updates and pictures, but I'm not really active on IG etc. so you probably wouldn't know it. And I'm sure I'm not alone. And one thing that's become clear to me after following a few of these Redline Rallys and Indigo Invitationals is that there are always pieces that are overlooked for some reason. (And for instance, how the 25oz Samurai jacket didn't make the top 10 this year or how Jcaz has never actually won one of these things, I have no idea).
Sorry if I forgot anyone, I'm sure I did. Hope to see you all for the upcoming Indigo Invitational.

too many good pieces and a lot of them get overlooked. I was shocked to get 9th considering I wasn’t expecting to get anywhere close to that top 10. Guess I had a little luck on my side this year. @GTPowers all I gotta say is it wouldn’t be the same without ya. Good folks like you keeps me running this damn thing, the one thing I’ve gained thru all this is friendships and I’m richer in that than I’ve ever been. So damn thankful for my blue boys and girls out there
