Fit check

@Ile I have moved your fit check question to here. In my opinion they look big and you may need to size down, however you also mentioned that the rise may be an issue. The 1955’s are meant to sit higher on your waist and if they are uncomfortable for you, you may need to find a cut with a lower rise.
Iron Heart offers many different cuts with lower rises, one of which may fit your individual requirements better than the ones in your picture.
This cut comparison tool may be useful for you in deciding what cut works best. Pay specific attention to the rise and look for one’s lower than your current jeans.
Once again, fit is all subjective and you need to be comfortable.

They look a bit snug in the waist - the waistband looks to be stretching a bit, but otherwise I’d agree with @goosehd that they look generous everywhere else. The waist will stretch out a little though.
I’d also add to the comments on fit that sometimes the fit will be imperfect - if you’re more comfortable with a roomy top block you may have to deal with the way they hang not being exactly as you may want it. It happens to me on some straight fits, even without a high rise.
-
@NickD these were used I don't know if it matters. They feel pretty nice, however It's weird that that they are really roomy but the waist is quite snug..
-
Being used i don't think that really matters. Maybe your waist measurement is bigger than your hips? That will cause what you are experiencing. Nevertheless they will stretch some in the waist with wear.

Hello. Hope this is ok..wanted to get some feedback on how these IH 633's in 21 oz look to the group. I just picked them up in Austin to "replace" my recently purchased 666's. The 666's are a little too constricting in the top block for every day wear and I want to abuse these jeans. I tried the 888's but not for me.
These are really comfortable! I need to get them hemmed but was short on time and did not want to rush it.
These are tag 33, I could get into the 32's but besides the waist being a little tight they felt tight all over and I was gun shy after my 666 experience. Appreciate the feedback.

Looks good man!

@goosehd Thank you for helping out! I'm still learning how to navigate the forum. Appreciate you

What do y’all think of these Stevenson Carmels? I bought them in SF but then was sick for a couple weeks and lost 10lbs. Are they still looking decent?
Selfedge model fit^

@Anesthetist I think they look good. As long as the waist is good for you.
-
@Anesthetist jeans looks good…but that lawn!!!
-
@Anesthetist yes. the look great! what’s your concern?
-
@Anesthetist Denim on these 220s looks to be the same as my 727s. If so, it fades quite fast and looks great.
-
They look good Matt. Good to see you're back
-
@Anesthetist I don't think you have anything to worry about. They look really good...you could even gain another 5lb's and I bet they would still be fine.
Nice pick up -
Thanks gentlemen, they just felt a little baggy on me. Waist is a little loose but ok with a belt. I think I’ll hem to reduce the double cuff, that might make them more natural feeling.
They should be a nice pair of summer denim.@Mizmazzle I have a small yard being in the city, so I always make sure my lawn is looking sharp! We move to the county in a couple weeks and will have an acre. I’m gonna guess it wont be as well kept
-
@Anesthetist You are in Deere country...an acre would be nothing for a new lawn toy.

Are you still contagious and if so how soon can we meet up?
-
@Anesthetist congrats on the new country house!! I agree. Sounds like it’s time for a riding mower!!!
