      @zhivago:

      Any advantages to not soaking this shirt before wearing it for awhile?  Of course it's gonna happen eventually, but would waiting and wearing it raw have any advantages? Seems as if the general thoughts so far have been to soak first but I am just curious as to why.

      My concern as well…....but will soak mine before wear.

      Any thoughts on water temp so it won't shrink much??  As of now, it's perfect on me, pre-soak.

      Thanks,

      Cris.

      RIP GEO

              it might of had something to do with it coming when those blasted fh annie's came into my home & upset my beautiful & perfect just the way she is wife & the damn tags on the jeans were all wrong saying 28. . .

              (i whistle & look around while describing fh annie's)

                Soaked for about 15-20 min in semi cold-warm water yesterday, checked this morning and almost dry, so it should get some wear very soon….fit pics when the time comes.

                          For some reason, my buttons come "undone" by itself, 2nd-3rd from the bottom, and 2nd from the top, I'm assuming due to the rawness (and maybe my beer storage), info???

                            No comment re: beer storage vessel, but if it persists, a tiny little stitch at the top or the bottom of the button hole, just to reduce the length of the opening should help….

                                what's everyones thoughts on pairing this shirt with a relatively new pair of jeans?  Will the different color stitching compliment each other or clash in a bad way?

                                        Do you have room elsewhere to allow a little more shrink?
                                        Cause a wash with agitation will shorten them sleeves up a bit.

                                            Cris,
                                            Jaco is right… I am in the same boat as you I have to get XXL sometimes to make room in chest area but the sleeves are always a bit long.  A cold wash with agitation shrank the sleeves on my IHSH-13 from 27'' to a perfect 26.5, but I still had plenty of room every where else.  I am thinking about doing a warm wash with agitation to see if the shirt shrinks any where else. I will let you know.
