Now that I'm venturing deeper into the depths of this forum, I'm heartened to fight a healthy thread around my greatest passion; motorcycles.

It's funny how well made things, mechanical things, and those that evoke a viceral reaction often overlap.

I currently operate nine bikes at the moment. All are either on the sporty end or on the dirty end, with one ADV bike splitting both worlds - four Ducatis and five KTMs.

Atop the two-stroke, which is the preferred weapon for the technical and slick singletrack we enjoy in the PNWet.

... and forgive me for the multiple posts; I wasn't able to upload all the images in one post.

This is probably the most fun, especially when you take a perfectly good dirt bike, and smaller wheels and slicks on it. Dumb and hilariously fun.

The V2 is an amazing bike. I prefer it to the V4 (of any flavor). It's easier to ride and I'm faster on my V2 than the V4 Streetfigther.

I loved it so much that when my 899 died a fiery death at the track several years ago, I circled back to the V2.

No, you are correct; it does come with a dry clutch. Out of the box from Borgo-Panigale, the wet clutch cover is fitted, but underneath is the Ducati Performance dry clutch from STM. In the box is a carbon fiber trim piece.

A few years back Giles said he thought a trip around here may be interesting to some forum peeps. I have much more free time now than back then so maybe I should think up some ideas and throw them out for discussion.
I’d be thrilled to show you guys around.

I fitted the carbon trim piece so the dry clutch is now exposed. You’ll see it one of the pictures. Ducati ships the bike with the wet clutch cover on and includes the carbon trim piece if you want to swap to an exposed clutch cover, which I did.

Keep in mind that these dry clutches have a noticeably shorter service life than the old dry clutches. Like thee to five thousand miles until a service is required for the clutch. And that could mean all new plates and basket, which can exceed $2k.

As for the exhaust, they do sound nice. The SF V4 is about the only bike where I feel like it didn’t need a full system. The V2 Bayliss may get an Arrow system at some point.
