Just picked up this J-24. I am blown away by it. I’m now considering a JH-1 in brown. Anyone have one?

@Luijim78 I'm definitely no expert when it comes to leather jackets, but every time I see someone wearing it, I realize again that it's definitely a good model for slimmer guys.

@matt_rost the models from a few years ago were also very short (very suitable for riding a motorbike) and this is what always made me hesitate. The leather is strictly Shinki more or less Teacore. I would really like to try one in size 34 or 36.

@Luijim78 I found the RMC J24 to be too short in the body for me, and too long in the arms if I sized up to get the body length.

Ideally biker jackets are meant to be worn short.

I had the experience of long one vs short one in flat head double rider

Found the long one uncomfortable sitting down.

For this reason went size down and can leave it open.

All my riders jackets are short.

Agreed, I also like to tuck my shirts in with jackets.

Also, this is the older model of the J-24, the BJ91111, which fits slimmer than the new pattern of the J-24.

@Luijim78 I generally understand the problem. I have it myself: I'm tall and thin. While I'm just getting started with leather jackets, I already know that I'll get used to the short back length sooner than too much room in the chest area or arms that are way too long. But even this realization has already cost me a lot of money, which I'm currently trying to get back. So all I can say is: try it on and be sure, or if in doubt, don't buy it... unless you have a sure buyer for a pair that doesn't fit you properly.

There’s short and there’s too short. I have a long torso so the RMC was unwearable for me, even the Flat Head is only just long enough

No one wants to see me looking like this, believe me. IMG_9064.png

That's what I mean, and that's why I'm not buying low rise pants these days. Your combo (or rather the jacket) just looks much more appropriate this way 👌

This is actually a matching set purchased at the same time. Maybe 2 years ago? Shorts get worn (and swam in) more often, and have faded more as a result. Enjoyable lightweight corduroy for warm weather. Dries reasonably quickly. Given the all cotton repro construction, the shorts have already been repaired once. Still enjoying them though. Didn’t expect this level of evolution when I got them but happy with how it’s turned out. Orange fade to pink.
