I love the look of those, but since the last 2 pairs of Alden I had were really poorly made (and both broke withinin weeks) and Alden the company were about as much use as a chocolate fireguard (in fact, coud not give a shit), I vowed never to touch their product again…
Do you think there has been a downward trend in quality over a period in time,

that's a shame about the decline in their quality & the sh!t customer service.
hopefully they get it right for the collab that is taking place with selfedge/ironheart/leathersoul.

what's the big deal about the price. i've seen alot of uglier boots for a lot more. . . also seen alot of better stuff for a few dollars less. my point is price is so subjective. a very wise 8 toed gentleman (& i use the term gentleman gingerly, hahahahaha) told me an item is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. i'm sure someone else said it before him but it stuck for some reason this time.
think the boot is dope, but hoping for a price drop or something i fancy a bit more to come on to the market. i am also stuck onanother brand at the moment because for the most part Aldens are abit dressed up looking to me.
