This explains why. I have the 555 in this serge fabric. Very nice fabric. And fast fast fading.

Wanna say a big thank you to @Graham for the sizing advice on this, XL - LIKE A GLOVE. Also, what a jacket. Up to now my OD lefty has been my favourite IH piece but this may trump it, already thinking about what goes on the chopping block to get the black version while they are still available

@SKT @FlavourFade thanks guys, and here you go, some quick bedroom pics. Seriously though if you are on the fence about one of these just get one ordered, you will not be disappointed. One of the heaviest green bags I’ve yet had the pleasure to open.

For reference this is an XL, I’m 5 foot 10 and usually wear XXL in almost everything IH other than UHF’s which I go with XXXL in. The only other XL piece I have is a sateen m65.

If you all keep talking about it, I’m going have to buy one… Just a little on the fence about sizing. I’m XXXL or SP-large in all shirts. Seems like I could do a XXL in this if I want it a little more fitted???

@northsouthdenimguy if I take a XXL or XXXL and sized down to XL I’d say you’d be perfect with a XXL.. I can still zip it up with a t-shirt and a shirt and have a little room left.

@DeeDee85 great fit!!! How would you describe the jacket regarding warmth?

The sizing is a little weird for me, I am between a xxl-xxxl but size for comfort and compared to my best fitting Shirt I could do xl even but don't know if I can layer it over my XXXL 33od then for example

@FlavourFade thank you! It is very heavy and warm but not uncomfortably so. I wore it most of today and have been to two indoor kids parties and didn’t feel like I was overheating once. I wasn’t at all cold when outside either, and the UK in February isn’t the warmest.. it definitely stops the wind. It feels like it will soften up beautifully too.

The sizing threw me off a little too with it being my first windbreaker cut but @Graham nailed it, I’d give IH UK a call on Monday and get some advice?

@DeeDee85 have you tryed to layer over a xxxl flanell or only with lighter shirts and tees?
