Rogue Territory

Agree with @marco23d . Mine shrank considerably. Pit to pit went from 23 to 21.5, back length from 29.5 to 28. I washed cold with minimal spin. Maybe I’m spoiled with a wealth of knowledge with IH and the forum, but I don’t think it’s too much for a manufacturer to inform customers of this, especially for a £265 shirt. Their website now states 0.5 inch shrinkage (it definitely didn’t at the time a couple of years ago).
My shirt ended on eBay and I got maybe £120 from it, so considerable loss there. Shame as I loved the fabric, fit (pre wash), and the construction was solid.
-
@jerkules that is quite some shrinkage. That makes sizing difficult because I could size up more and then get hardly any shrinkage and I’m left with a shirt that’s too roomy. Or I have a cold shower whilst wearing the shirt and pray for the best. Thanks

@xzther8 Ill chime in (stuck on an awful conference call and happen to be wearing mine tdy) It’s been stated a thousand times before and bears repeating a thousand times more, start with the measurement charts over tag size. But yep, I think going with a large for it to fit more like a medium would be the way to go. Start with a cold soak and if you need it to tighten up more, warm soak it. For reference, mine started out a little baggy and now fits great post soak.

All solid, time proven suggestions @flannel-slut
-
@flannel-slut thanks man! Looks great on you, going to go with the large then.

Bought a Supply Jacket in Black Denim today. Really like the clean asthetic of that cut. Not for the traditionalists but I personally prefer it over the classic I-III type cuts.

Snake Oil Provisions just unveiled a RGT Sashiko pre order that I'm dying trying to avoid. Chore coat and a Cruiser. I've got a $$$$ leather jacket arriving in this groups window and I need my wife. Also I don't need any more jackets in general... But wow chore coat is screaming at me!
-
@CosmoSix5 wouldn’t be doing my part as a forum member if I did not chime in w my own enabling thoughts
I actually prefer RGTs sashiko over any I’ve come across (and yes I own the IH 21oz sashiko work shirt amongst a couple other very nice sashiko’s)
-
@CosmoSix5 I think I will be ordering one
-
@flannel-slut that's unhelpful man
my IH sashiko was sealing the deal on avoiding this one.
-
I'm glad I'm addicted to quality garments and not illicit drugs because I'd be dead.
I wasn't charged for shipping and that sealed the deal. $500 is their free ship amount. Your mileage may vary.
My first RGT piece!

@CosmoSix5 nice dude
️ a LOT better examples available out there but if your anything like me, love looking at pics of a piece I just bought while waiting on it to arrive so heres is a shot of mine
-
@flannel-slut man, that looks insane!!
-
-
@flannel-slut how did you size it compared to your usual IH sizing? It says true to size on the site but the only Rogue Territory jacket I’ve tried on seemed to fit rather small..
-
@flannel-slut champ
-
@flannel-slut I agree with on that. Their sashiko is really neat. I'm not such a fan of how a lot of their pants fit and I have thoughts on the construction versus the pricepoint but the sashiko is cool. Almost waxy when new. I like it a lot.

@DeeDee85 I have a few of their pieces and would say outside of their waxed canvas jacket (comparable to IH sizing) the majority of their pieces fits a half size larger than IH including my sashiko cruiser
