@natefreezy I prefer type 2 compared to type 3. I like the pleats, the larger and lower
oriented pockets. I like the cut of the T2 better. I just overall prefer 2 to 3, though I do love them both. I prefer type 2, 1 and 3 in that order of aesthetic preference.

Thanks @Oaktavia. I don’t have anything slubby or type II so could be something new to try. My other denim jacket is actually the 22 oz OD type III. How would this layer with the IHSH-33? I'd probably do that and then have to wear either the denim shirt or jacket with tee as it warms up.

Do people generally take same size as in type III?

@natefreezy It really boils down to the measurements. My two key areas are chest and shoulders for which I have a type II in a large (mustard yellow one) and an xl (stubby). My type III's are the same in that it depends on those two measurements with a few in each size.

I have that same 22oz OD jacket, oddly I am wearing it right now.

How would this layer with the IHSH-33? I'd probably do that and then have to wear either the denim shirt or jacket with tee as it warms up.

I assume you mean the slubby T2? The sleeves on my jacket allow for layering with any IHSH underneath it. I even wore my 19oz 409 under it last winter. It was an excellent layering piece. But just make sure you size to allow layering for yours. YMMV.

Do people generally take same size as in type III?

Not all jackets are sized the same, regardless of the cut and type. Always check the sizing charts for each individual run of each item and compare that to a well fitting jacket. Hope this helps...

Starting out here is daunting, but when you have great examples to follow and role models to emulate, then everything else becomes much easier. 🙂
