Similarly to the above described, the measurements of size small didn't look like they'd work out for me, so I passed this time around even though I wanted to get one.
-
@long_john86 sorry you couldn’t get the blazer to work for you, I did manage to get some spare fabric, but it looks like it wouldn’t be financially viable for tailor option.
Pleased you liked the blazer though.

@Steve cheers Steve

@long_john86 sorry! It definitely doesn't fit. That slack up top would drive me bonkers.

Looks good on you @Jen-R-L-Good

Did we ever discover the amount of fabric in the sleeves available to lengthen them? XL or XXL? My tailor asked me for pictures if anyone could oblige me?
-
@CosmoSix5 on the inside of the sleeve, there is 3cm of sashiko fabric before it joins the arm lining, so potentially there would be 2.5cm additional length you could achieve I guess. Because of the nature fabric you might have a slight fold mark from the sashiko's original fold, not too noticeable and I would imagine it would go with a pressing.

I seem to collect unstructured sport coats. It seems to fit in my world in tech. And I searched for a killer sashiko jacket outside of the trucker style; I found this... about a year too l late. Typical in my searches. haha
What are the chances for a restock? Or maybe even another jacket with a similar fabric?

@Bobcat-Sig please keep WTB requests in the marketplace per forum rules.
Thank you.

@Bobcat-Sig Thank you.

@Bobcat-Sig There will be another production run of the sashiko blazer, but before that will be a sahiko chore jacket (link below), just waiting for second sample, then that will go into production. I would expect these to launch July/August
upcoming chore jacket -
@Steve Love it! I'm probably more in for the blazer than the chore coat, but those samples and prototypes you've shown look amazing! Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep an eye out.
