Ended up going for the 1mm Black Chore in a size 44. Hoping this works out better than that FCL Leon. In hindsight, idk why i didn't go with this first cuz i've had my eye on it forever. The measurements on the 44 are damn near the same as my XL UHFs, so it should work out fine. TJ at The Shop has a few videos about how horse breaks in and it looks like all of his worked like shrink-to-fit lol. I didn't know about this, could end up pretty dialed. super psyched.

I sized up on the shore because I wanted to have the opportunity to layer. first it felt a little big and boxy , but it starts to mould pretty fast .

@Daniel-San cant wait man! Has it seen much rain? "Shrunk" much? I plan on wearing the hell out of it, i do ride in the rain and that seems to be how TJ gets his break-in fit. I'm afraid it'll be too big just because its size 44. The chart is on point tho with a little bit over in the shoulder. I'm 5'11" 175lbs, which is smaller than TJ but my chest and shoulders are bigger, and i have orangutan arms.

I had not much chances to wear in the rain, but 2 or 3 times I did . It definitely changed the fit even it was not completely wet. seems to be the gamechanger for most horse hide jackets in general. I’ve red about a guy soaking his horse hide jacket in a tub of rain water and then wear it wet to set the creases and mould .
hope your sleeves are long enough , they get a good amount shorter with wear. -
Fuckin UPS with their duty tax payment glitched out and failed. Of course thats not what my bank thinks. Now I have a pending charge and unpaid duty tax.

@Mizmazzle lol not yet. Christmas time shipping and UPS mixups. It’s been in my state for almost a week! Itching to get my hands on it. I’ll be sure to post a fit pic. Expecting it to fit nearly identical to my 16oz SBG.

@Mizmazzle it’s been hard to settle on one. I’ve had my same leather jacket for 10 years now and I’ve been window shopping ever since.
hell yeah I need to take more I been slackin. I fully expect the jacket to work as my all arounder. From wrenching to ridin to dinner dates.
Should be in tomorrow and I’ll be ready to go to work on it after a fit check. -

Finally showed up! I dig the fit. A bit snug right now with a hoodie, but will open up and take one I’m sure. Way heavier than I expected, but in a good way. Now to beat the shit out of it.
