@T4920 I've tried the 777. Rise is too low for me, and I found the thighs to be possibly a little tight. I've tried all the cuts except 666, and found the 633 is my best fit. Would love to try 666, but SE doesn't stock them. From the sound of it though, I might have similar issues in thighs.

This fabric, 21oz, doesn’t shrink but rather will definitely stretch.

You will really have to soak them in really hot water, agitate the hell out of them, spin them in high speed and then throw them in a hot dryer and if you are lucky you will get 0.5 inch of the inseam. I do not recommend doing any of the above. You will be better off hemming them 0.5 inch shorter and not screw up the fabric

The 21oz is sanforized and once washed. It's very difficult to shrink any further as almost all shrinkage has been done.

You can soak them. Nothing wrong with that. Just don't expect any shrinkage just from a soak. Lots of people soak their jeans to get the creases set.

size down? they look too tight right now (whole pelvic area under stress), but should be good since they will give about an inch.

666 won't work because of thighs. 888 you likely won't like because of rise.

@Perpetual_beta to be honest the 666 I usually size up to 33 tag because the thigh is so tight and low rise and to be honest the 888 our the perfect fit in a 32 and I love the longer rise and thigh and taper, the 633 reminds me of the 888 taper and the 634 these our quit spacious in the waist area pelvic area isn’t tight our uncomfortable maybe the just look it

@Mindfulbiscuit..on paper the difference between the 633 and 888 will be the rise, with the 888 having a higher back rise and maybe slightly higher front rise and the taper that in the 888 it starts at mid thigh vs the 633 that starts at the knee. Again I said theoretically because I do not not own a 633. I have 634's and 888's. The 633 it suppose to be a 634 with a taper starting at the knee to hem.

@m4xime more taper from the knee on the 888 and also longer rise on the 888,to me very much a 633 is a 634 with a nice taper you only get the stronger taper if the hem is not hemmed

@Mindfulbiscuit makes complete sense. I also have to size up 666 to make them work in the thighs but then the waist gets to wide. So I don't bother with those anymore and stick with 633/4 and 888. Interested in trying the 1955 though - any experience with them?

If you are a 634/33/888 guy the 1955 will work also. It has a high rise like the 888 and maybe a bit higher and the taper is similar to the 633 I think, as the knee measurement of the 1955 is wider than the 888.

@yannis yeah I like the 555 fit better than the 666 I size up to a 33 which helps thigh and calf and 777 the same thing 33 is Perry on me in the low style
