IRON HEART World Tour II 2011-2012 - Beatle Buster SBG

Gosport is on a peninsular, so nowhere here is more than about a mile or so from the sea. Here we see Stokes Bay, the main beach on the South of the peninsular. The stretch of water you see is The Solent, the epicentre of boating in the UK, the land mass on the other side is The Isle of Wight.
We have just donated some navigational electronics to the local volunteer lifeboat station for their new 11m rescue RIB. This station is the busiest in the Solent (and probably therefore the UK) as we are pretty much in the middle.

This week the jeans & I are in The West Country.
This lovely old pub in Topsham is the only pub The Queen has (officially) visited. It has resisted change for almost 500 years, its so original it has no bar (pre beer engine), the bar staff bring the beer up from the cellar in jugs.
Pretty Brixham with "The Golden Hind" in the foreground.
Today I've been in historic Dartmouth; this is the train arriving at Kingswear station, for the Dartmouth ferry.
