Xpost from WAYWT
OD Broken Twill shown vs 17N.I’m really enjoying these. It’s been a minute since I’ve bought any OD. And these have me wondering if the newer OD fades quicker than the OG OD? My experience with it was that it was very slow to fade…but these seem to be fading quite a bit faster than I expected. It’s notably crunchy for how darn soft it is. The soft and stout 21oz drew me toward IH initially, so I’m glad to see more soft fabrics in the lineup.

@Boit hey man wondering how these are evolving?
-
-
not touched water yet. i might do it this weekend.
-
@Boit thanks mate these look so good
-
Finally got around to throwing these into the machine.
-
@Boit looks amazing mate. Thinking on a pair as a leg opening is spot on for me. Looks like a good fade too
-
Picked up a pair of these and they fit so good. How soft! Hoping to get some good fades going
-
@doubletee How are they looking
-
Any chance these are more breathable than the normal 14oz? I find that denim so hot to wear.
-
@JerkStore yyes. i find these to be noticeably cooler than the ib, bb, and od 14oz denim.
-
@JerkStore agree with @Boit these are a lot comfier in warmer weather compared to my 142bb
-
Thanks guys. Snagged the last 33 in these and they came today and fit perfectly. Exactly what I was looking for: black and more breathable. What finally sold me is my adoration for my 14oz Broken twill overdyed Work jacket. Also really, really glad I did a black thread for the hem.

Just ordered the last 32” of these. Are they they sulphur or new dye? Thanks
-
@Gavin666 Good question. IIRC, it’s sulphur dye….evident by the rivets and buttons being tarnished. However, the webpage description seems to describe it as being the (new) direct dye.
-
@Gavin666 I ordered (one of?) the last pair of tag 33 a while back and mine are the old method, tarnished rivets etc.
Side note this is an amazing denim, super soft and comfortable from day one.
-
@hjl360 awesome thanks. Was hoping it was the sulphur ones
