@Mizmazzle My wife wanted to name our dog Chicken before we even got him for a few reasons, but mostly just instinct. He is more stubborn than cowardly, and sometimes squares up to bigger dogs, which reflects either an intelligence deficit or a fear response of aggression, I'm never completely sure. Mostly though he wants to play with other dogs in the park.

@Mizmazzle I didn't realise that the breed is found as street dogs in Peru. They are considered a national treasure in their home country, and they retain genetic markers from the dogs that came over the land bridge from Siberia with the Native Americans.
Disco is a good dog, despite having a somewhat cursory relationship with obedience!

Would be impossible but hella cool have a forum dog park hang lol. So cool seeing everyone’s dogs on here and be rad af see them all in person.

@Graeme well the interesting thing was that all the street dogs we saw looked just like that. There didn’t seem to be much of a mix of breeds. We were always in small villages when we saw the dogs, so there is a very good chance they had homes and were just roaming free as is often the case.
