Well, I am most certainly going to give these a chance. And no, I am not taking it personal I know what you mean man. I mean these aren't baggy, but they aren't as slim (probably the wrong word) as I thought they would be. But the only problem is that I don't really have the chance to try on denim, and I mean I really don't want to spend $400 again on a pair of pants. I did check the measurements, but my guess is I overestimated myself, I mean I will give these a chance as they are sick, but if in the end I don't like them I will just re-sell them..

And I actually enjoy selling things, gives me a chance to try out more stuff, I have my main pair of jeans right now (s500JX-LR, and plan on never selling them), and then I will just try out different brands as it is the only way. It would be collecting if I had the money for it, but since I don't I have to buy and re-sell, I have tried tons of brands, and honestly I have found that TFH and Samurai are the only 2 brands I really like, and since I just got these, I can't say for sure I love iron heart yet, but I can tell these are really well made, and what not. I also shouldn't have said that I was going to sell them just yet, as I need to give them a chance, but considering how comfy they are right now, I will probably keep them. The results of some Iron Hearts I have seen are incredible.

BTW, I only sell my jeans because usually I am very decisive, and there are some imperfection that just annoys the shit out of me. So far I haven't found one on the 634s, so as of now I will keep them but it is only up to me if I decide to sell.

My thoughts exactly. I would have kept a ton of my jeans but, the only way that I can try out other jeans is to sell and buy since I don't have a good enough flow of money from my job. I would have had a decent collection by now, not as good as some other people though.

laxlife1234, I don't know if you know me – but I bought your W30 SG1103EX Heavy Weight Jean - Straight Leg from you for a great price. Remember ? I love those Strike Golds ! I haven't rotated them in yet though because I'm too busy loving my Sugar Cane Okinawas. But I know you're just a kid...a pretty young kid. I'm not sure if others on this forum realize just how young you are ! Your writing style and verbosity gives your youth away...most young people babble on and on like you do (no jab intended). I chuckled when I read "I don't have a good enough flow of money from my job". And let me break something to you kiddo…you never will. Japanese jeans are very expensive, and will always be...no matter if you're 15 or 50.

Those IH 634S look really good on you !

Glad to see comments like these. No one should feel ostracized due to the fact they are slowly making the transition into unfamiliar territory. Keep doing what you do and sooner or later you'll find your comfort zone and subsequently start knocking your purchasing decisions out of the park.

To everyone: Thanks  :). I don't plan on (at the moment) of getting rid of them, I can live with a fuller cut, with the exception that they don't work so well with vans  😞

Edit: By the way, I am loving the friendly atmosphere on here! Its like mynudies (but with Iron Heart), but nothing like SuFu.

Thank you! Yeah, of course I remember you actually I was thinking about whether or not I should have emailed you on a sort of follow-up! Well, I would really like to see some evo pics of the Strike Golds  :)! But, no worries I know I tend to write quite a lot of 'fluff' when it comes to posting, then again I don't proof-read, but I do try to keep it as minimal as possible (even though that never happens).

Well, when I get older I plan on having a job.. or at least one that doesn't pay minimum wage. True that I will probably not have much more of a cash flow since I will have a ton of other expenses, but I am sure it will be more than what I am making now.

Well, right now I think I am in love with the denim they use  :-*. It is crazy heavy, but strangely breatheable, all while being comfy… its really confusing me how they do it! But I am going to give these time to grow on me, and match them with different outfits, see which combo I like the most and maybe they will be my favorite fit! As for the perfect pair... well I think the 666OD's may be it, but I am also seeing those 25ozers so I am going to wait for now.

Also when I asked beatle to help me with BB vs. 666's she was more than helpful, nice and knowledgeable.

We got a Lhasa last year and he is my best buddy...well most of the time.  He has destroyed some really nice jeans of my girlfriend and myself.  He loves denim (go figure).  When he gets a hold of a pair he makes holes pretty fast in them.  I got out of the shower to find he had been at my new 634s for at least 20 min.  Thank God they where inside out but more importantly, he never got threw them.  He chewed on 2 spots for 20 min and never once made a hole in the denim.  Talk about one bad ass pair of jeans!

No need.  Any half decent machine can restitch the patch on (hell even I can do that with my hand driven Singer).

And the back pocket is super easy too.

As an aside, we now use stronger thread and double the stitching at each end of the patch sewing line…...

The patch.  The problem with the patch is that unlike a lot of other brands, the stitching is just at the top and the bottom (rather than all the way around), so that you can get your belt through the patch if that is what you like to do.  That coupled with the thickness of the leather imposes great stress at the 4 corners.

The Polycotton that we sew the 634S with is and has alwayts been super strong.

On some jeans where we are aiming for a more vintage look (666 and 634SR) we use cotton.  This does tend to give up quicker than Polycotton, but that's part of the vintage look we are trying to recreate.
