Thank you, Sir, I took your advice

Me: Same old shit. Oakland tee, Sugar Cane Okinawa, Tanner belt, but something interesting – Danner boots ! Yeah, normally I'm not into boots but these are super comfortable and multi-utilitarian. I can use them for day-to-day walking as well as hard-core Mt. Whitney mountain climbing. I don't think Aldens are so versatile, though they certainly look purdy.

^nice.
Danners are excellent value for money.Indeed IsaakM, they are a bargain for what they offer. I'm wearing these :
http://www.danner.com/boots/dannerr-rat-temperate-military-boots.html
(These are unisex, so I wear a Men's Size 5, which translates to a Women's Size 7).What the ad says :
**"The RAT represents the toughest boot components in the world – all stitched together to create one ultra-rugged war boot. 1000 Denier nylon, full-grain nubuc, and reinforced leather overlays create a fortress of protection and support. Underneath, you’ll find Vibram
360 outsoles with Dri Ice for unrivaled flexibility and traction in frigid condition. There’s nothing the RAT can’t handle."
"Rugged all-terrain and built with nothing but the best materials, the Danner
RAT stands ready for any mission, any environment, any time."**
My requirements for boots were : ridiculous comfort, can walk miles and miles and miles in them, not heavy (as in light), super well made, and versatile. Looking good was of secondary importance, though I think Danners also look great. There should probably be a "Danner Boots" thread but damn, if these are good enough for our Afghanistan soldiers, they're certainly good enuf for my lame sorry ass !

I blame the awkward position of my wardrobe mirror… That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
