Love these hats. I had lost a previous black waxed Wills hat with a fabric tag but lost it somehow. I like this new one with the leather patch more though.

A rather nice looking sashiko fabric cap has just appeared on the Ship John Instagram feed. guess these will go super quick.

Yea I’m for sure going to have to try and get one! And no foam back, so I’m curious how they will wear. Floppy or a bit stiff?

I don’t think they’ll be floppy but will collapse some on the high points of the crown after time

I’ve gotten pretty lucky with Ship John. Snagged the Sashiko shirt, Waxed Ramblin, Waxed Ramblin Vest and my Willis should be here late Summer. I’m pretty much tapped for outerwear at this point lol.

Any idea when the sashiko hat is going on sale? I see a new instagram post, but don’t see a date of release. I may be missing it…
