IH-888S-SBG - 21oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise SBG

I need some washing advice... I am nearing 100 wears on mine, and I want to wash them soon. I had a pair of 555sbg in the past, and I screwed them up bad washing them so I want to avoid that with these by all means necessary. I learned after the fact that with SBG soaking them prior to wash is essential, so I am planning on doing that and then throwing in my machine on delicate/handwash setting. Any other advice? I am going to hang dry afterwards

@Jcaz6996 thanks for that. I have always just thrown my indigo right in the wash without soaking and had no issues, but maybe I'll just start to presoak first with all of mine just to avoid any issues

@hgering27 I washed my 555sSBG the same way no problems, no streaks or marbling

@hgering27 I’ve just given my 555 SBG their first wash after 50 wears and they came out fine. Soaked in the bath with warm water and Woolite for around half an hour with a bit of agitation then in the machine, cold wash with no spin.

@Mizmazzle hell yeah, the seem like they’ve just started poppin. Compared to my ib though, these seem mild at 99/100 wears.

Woops too much agitation. Same wash as 21ib but these are far more prone to marbling. Still cool. Still drying, more pics later

@WhiskeySandwich I had a touch of marbling on my first wash with the xHS bb…faded out pretty quickly. I feel like marbling becomes less an issue with future washes as they fade out more.
In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...
