      Those look good @louisbosco.

I'm tempted by the Full Metal Jacket, I'm not sure if I'd go with the silver (pictured) or black version. The size is good for my prescription, but perhaps less good for my face, they look a bit bigger in this selfie due to the camera angle.

      Full Metal Jacket

I also like the Diana, which is a bit too similar to the ICU I currently wear. I would get them in the black and chrome combination, then swap out the lenses for Transitions Style Mirrors.

@louisbosco I'll want to check the Full Metal Jackets again, because they seemed a bit narrow the first time I tried them. They're pretty close in size to my current pair, but the hinges are slightly smaller.

          They're also horribly expensive.

What I do like about them is there's a slightly rifled pattern on the front of the frame, you can't see it in the photo.

@louisbosco I also think that the Full Metal Jacket in black would look good on you. Your eyebrow has a bit of an arch to it, and I think that those frames would sit nicely with that.

I tried on the Earl in Pacific today. They were lovely, and they would made me look like The Rock if I had enormous biceps and a bad spray tan. But I've got a -6 prescription in my right eye, and even though they've got a thick frame, the lens would be horrible.

I got talking to the assistant about dogs, because there was a Toy Poodle running around the shop, which was quite cute. (Note to shop owners: pups improve the retail experience.) I showed her a photo of a friend's dog, Libby, who is a Cirneco dell'Etna, a very rare sighthound from Sicily, and she recognised the breed. She wanted to get one, but no-one was breeding them in Australia. That's due to change, so I might have pre-sold the first of the planned litter. 😁

@mclaincausey and @pechelman, the Earls do look very good, but my prescription would necessitate an enormously thick lens for my right eye, which would look terrible in the frame. They're staying in the shop as a result. 😢

@Inorganic the Cirneco is 184th out of 200 in the popularity ranking of breeds that the AKC recognises. Holly, who owns that pup, also has an Azawakh (at 196) and a Sloughi (at 200).

I'd agree that they're very pretty hounds.

There are a lot of interesting dog breeds that people don't generally know, and they're often overlooked. It's not too hard to find a breeder, and they can be cheaper than their more common cousins, because you have to know about them and hunt them down if you want one,

I always liked those exact frames you liked… until I tried them on.

What is so awesome about this brand, beyond the craftsmanship, materials and design… is the selection.

I’m squarely in the Molino, Jeff, Herbie, Dealen camp. I do own a Fellini, but reach for the others more frequently. I also own a Last Frontier Dayton.

These shades are totally worthy of collecting. I now never abuse/lose my glasses. Was always a problem when my previous sunnies felt “disposable”. Haha!
