Picked up these Chukkas for a steal on eBay.
Pre-broken in, but cleaned up, and freshly re-soled.

Will probably grab another pair. Had RW Chukkas before, but they got stolen whilst travelling, such a versatile pair of shoes.

Welp. Ruined a good pair of boots. These 8833s were too light for me so I wanted to dye them a little bit of a darker brown color. So I used Fiebings “beige” roughout dye. The color on their website looked like exactly what I wanted. But look at these things lmao. They’re orange. Guess I’m going dark brown or black now.

@Denimhead-0 yeah I don’t hate them. They just look exactly like my 875s already. I just don’t get how they turned orange haha. My wife likes them. She hated the original color, she always told me they looked like “timbos”

@long_john86 the star drops - pink stuff cleaning product works wonders.. about 5 quid a tub on Amazon and only takes a tiny amount to get them pure white again

Seaside
Clean and polish time
Removed false tongue and changed Pisgah lace colour. Tried out mustang paste and cleaned the sides of the sole with The Pink Stuff (thanks @DeeDee85 for the suggestion)
Very happy with the horse oil. It darkens them up, makes them richer, adds depth, and really picks up any existing patina/dye transfer from denim. I was worried at first as it looked like it was applying unevenly, but it all mellows and evens out overnight.

@DeeDee85 Cheers mate! I think I could have been more patient and spend more time on them - especially the soles - but had to wrap up to get the little one to bed!
