Anyone here have a tasteful solution for belts that are a little too long? I have two very nice Momotaro belts that I’m on the second innermost hole and there’s quite a bit of excess hanging out. I know I could cut it, they have a nice imprint on the tip so it would be a little heartbreaking to cut off. I refuse to allow myself to get any bigger lol.

I was thinking of a silver money clip kinda deal to keep it secure and not flopping around, just haven’t found anything tasteful yet. Any other ideas?

@nrtphotos I have a belt and a couple wallets from this dude and if I recall correctly, he does custom stuff too. Great quality for the money. If you email him he could probably send you one of the belt loops that are removable on his belts and you could just slide it on where needed. Or use something like this if you do t wanna cut it.

Iron heart belt IHB-07 worn almost every day for about 3.5 years, still as good as new. I conditioned it one time with mustang oil but it didn’t need it and still doesn’t. One pic with flash and one without.

@seawolf this belt is so so nice! It’s cool to see the start point til now. Tons of rich character all over and the leather has this sorta heavy yet draping wrap to it. Hard to describe. It’s heavy but really pliable.

@Heavy_blue You know, that’s what I thought at first, but the buckle is what threw me. I have belts from both and the indigo roughout I got from B.Weiss is my absolute favorite.

I'm considering buying a good quality, deep and rich brown horsehide (or cowhide if need be) belt. It should have a medium to relatively narrow width, maybe teardrop shaped holes and silver hardware. Any suggestions?

@cityofdelusion I have belts from B.Weiss and Pigeon Tree leather and would give a slight edge to B.Weiss. Also Seabee who is on The Forum does really good work from what I’ve seen and heard.

@Jett129 Thanks for the suggestions. I should've mentioned that the seller should be located in the EU (which may admittedly narrow the options down a bit) since I don't want to pay additional import fees, shipping etc.

@AdamJ Thanks mate 🙂 I considered it of course, but it's too wide for what I needed. I went with a custom-made Horween leather belt by "Hollows Leather" which I've been using for a while now. Will post more details about it when I get a chance.

Really pleased with this navy Japanese bridle belt from ptc. Only complaint is that the buckle feels a little stiff to open but that's nice in that it stays closed when putting it back on.
