IHM-35-KHA - Whipcord N1 Deck Jacket - Khaki

I’ve owned a few Iron Heart N1 deck jackets. Always check the measurements carefully, but generally the following rules hold true:

• Buy the same size as your Iron Heart western shirt size if you want a comfortable fit with room for an UHF or a sweater etc. But be prepared for slightly longer arms than ideal (not a problem once the creases bed in).

• Size down one from your Iron Heart western shirt size if you want to wear it with just a t-shirt. It’ll be a little snug in places (eg shoulders) but, depending on your style, might look like a better fit. I personally find this option a bit too restrictive eg if I’m doing anything other than just walking around. For example, it’s a bit restrictive when driving or lifting things.

Obviously everyone’s different, but the above statements have proved to be true for me and many others.

After I placed my order I was preparing myself for disappointment when I try it on.
Don’t think XxL would fit me this good but it would still be wearable.

The sizing chart for the IHM-35-KHA has been updated to the original post. Not a huge difference compared to the last batch, just a couple of tweaks here and there.

Just pulled the trigger on a XXL. Currently have this in black in XL but find with a cotton tee and UHF underneath (and sometimes also my IH-9526V vest as well) it was just a bit too snug for my liking. Aesthetically it probably looked absolutely bang on, but anticipating I'll appreciate the extra couple of cm here and there and feel more comfortable in XXL. Fingers crossed!

Nice to see someone else in the same boat as me! I have a couple of IH N1 Deck Jackets in Medium and they look AMAZING over just a tee shirt, but layering a UHF or sweater underneath is a no go, so I ordered this one in a Size Large...fingers crossed it works out for both of us!

@SaddleSC Yeah, similarly I saw a The Shop Vancouver video on the N1 talking about how its great to wear just over a tee, which influenced their choice of Tag size. Maybe it's the Manchester weather but for me when I crack out the N1 it's always a 'layering' scenario!

Received mine this morning, it’s a perfect fit in the large, comparing to last years olive medium measurements this years large had a similar P2P. Feel as though medium would have been t shirt only whereas the large looks good with a t shirt and can get a jumper or flannel under it too. Seriously heavy and warm jacket!

Can’t wait to sit outside the local in it supping pints!

After a delay with delivery and then the delivery driver delivering to the wrong house, finally tracked the package down (I'm sure you can imagine the rising panic!!) Having already owned an XL that felt a tad too snug with a UHF, this XXL fit is exactly what I was looking for. Here is me wearing it with a t-shirt, UHF and vest underneath.
I appreciate many prefer a more fitted look but this works for me (phew!)
Loving the sleeve length too!

@long_john86 looks perfect! The fitted look is overrated and people end up using the jacket largely open. Check some pics where you literally see people holding their breath when zipped up
