@Mr-Linz hell yeah dude, I dont mind at all. I think the only way you can call it 'messed up' is if you're worried about it too much 😉 It's cool to be able to rant on here about this stuff. Most people I know don't really care to hear about any of it lol

Wow dudes, both @Mr-Linz and @WhiskeySandwich are killing it so early on with this CPO. I think this one might even fade faster than the sample 361. Stoked to see this down the road and intensely they will fade.

Love reading the convo between @Mr-Linz & @WhiskeySandwich. Pure denim geekery, and I'm SO here for it..

@Oaktavia IDK man, I think your 19ib sample is nuts. This SBG is probably just photogenic. The shininess just makes it LOOK like it's faded a lot maybe? Or, since I see it every day, I don't see the changes happening in a drastic way. Either way, it's just getting started, this will still evolve a lot, I'm sure of it!

@T4920 I have been enjoying it a lot and getting super nerdy on here haha, thanks for humoring me, guys!

Thank for the support and encouragement fellas @Oaktavia & @T4920 it's really appreciated!

@WhiskeySandwich agreed mate, it definitely photographs well for sure.

I will say this is by far my favorite shirt! It's fit is amazing and now of course if completely molds to me. 10/10

This might seem odd, but my plan is keep wearing it around the clock into the new year, but when it's starts looking really lovely, (I'm thinking Jan/Feb base on other SBG's in the redline comp) I'm going to pull back and enjoy it over a much longer period of time. The only downside with wearing such a lovely shirt around the clock is, you don't get that feeling of I'm going with that look today lol, cause it's the same as the day before.

it's kinda apples to oranges. Remove the wind factor and I guess they're about the same? The UHF has that soft coziness and IMO this SBG is better as an outer layer. The 16oz is super dense and rigid and stops wind well. Our temps have been in the 40's and 50's (F) when the sun's down and I've been wearing both and still been toasty. I have the CPO but imagine the western works slightly better as a shirt and would be fine with a tee on a cool day, same as a UHF. I'd if that helps lol

I think an UHF would be warmer bc of the double brushed interior but might just be me.

@Mr-Linz yo, looking forward to seeing your updates too man! The washing has been bringing a lot of fuzz fibers out of the weave. It still stands after a wash though. I’ve been tumbling on “air fluff” setting after it’s dry, no heat. It’s still pretty rigid but totally comfortable. I like the way it’s progressing with the semi-frequent washes. It’s stubborn on its temper/rigidness but it’s very soft. I’ve kinda given up on having a “routine” and I’m just wearing the hell out of it and cleaning when needed.

@Mr-Linz mines been getting super shiny and oily and I don’t want it all gross since I wear it to the office and everything. I’ve gotten it covered in dirt and sawdust a few times since I’ve been clearing out a section of my woods for the garden. It’s a good companion just doing what I gotta do. With less washing I’m sure the contrast is going to be insane. I’m def following yours with interest.

@WhiskeySandwich Makes perfect sense. I honestly wished I did more stuff that dirties mine, I think it would help the evo a lot. But I'm a city dweller so sadly no sawdust for me at the moment. Interestingly mines pretty matte and not oily. I will say that I give it a dust down and wipe with a sponge when needed - it's not been totally dry. This is a fade monster though in no uncertain terms. I've never worn anything that fades with such high contrast.

@Mr-Linz I will say for sure it fades fast, and with contrast, even with a couple washes per month. Fastest fading piece I’ve had, but man is it stubborn to break in. Still like “cardboard” as far as the missus is concerned. The 18oz vintage has been pretty fast too, but is super soft now. And my 21ib is pretty soft now after a month (always was tho), and seems to fade pretty quick for just one month.
