@Cole I was eyeing up an Omega CK 859 with 30% off over the summer. Unfortunately, I couldn't reclaim VAT on it (thanks Brexit), and would have been liable for GST and import duty on return to Australia. So it didn't happen...

@Cole I wouldnt turn that down if you can help it. I have been waiting on my 75th anni but I would take the Bond over it any day at that price.

Yes I know, but 7.5k € is more then I can spare at the moment, even if it is a very good price for a brand new, somewhat limited, Omega with all the paperwork. Plus I allready own the very first Bond Omega, which makes it very hard to explain to my wife, why this one is also very appealing.

@Anesthetist nice! Weren't you eyeing one of those up a few months ago? Now put it on one of the Omega mesh bracelets!

@Anesthetist Very nice. Are you loving the dial? What's it like in different light? I've had a bit of a soft spot for the Vintage version of Seamaster 300 75th.

@Graeme I was! I had seen one at our local omega boutique and got in contact in my authorized dealer that discounts. I had to wait a few months but saved quite a bit of money and taxes so that’s a win for me!

@Mr-Linz I like it very much and Omega’s press release photos dont do it justice. It was dark when I got home last night so I’ll get some sunny pics today

@Mr-Linz I saw the Seamaster 300 Summer Blue in Melbourne yesterday and would agree it's a very pretty watch. I like how the lume on the hands and dial is done in a pale blue. Unfortunately I didn't get to try one on because the Omega boutique was busy with a bunch of Chinese tourists who were actually buying watches!

The diver 300 chat is also inline with my current thinking. I have been eyeing up the black/black ceramic version of the diver 300. @Anesthetist Lovely pick up, congrats, a lovely version of a classic.
