The pockets don't do it for me at all, I say get rid of 'em !
Is it that easy though 
Mind you, if it's gonna be too short for me I don't suppose my opinion count's much does it

The Duck version WILL have pockets.  I just won't put them on a denim version.  Haraki and I tried to work out a cool way of doing an internal pocket on the raw 18 oz that is coming out later in the year, but failed.

I'm not sure I understand: will there be an OD version of the Cotton Duck Type III? If so, what does the fabric look like when OD'd???

While I'm at it, stiffness-wise, how does the Cotton Duck fabric compare to regular 21oz denim?

Not extra long.  I am pretty tall with lomg arms and it is (I think) perefct for me, but then again I like the truly classic Type III look.  I'm still tossing and turning at night worrying about putting the pockets in it.

How about just one interior pocket for an iPhone/ smartphone and no slash pockets?!?!

Cool idea. That would be great , if it happen, one interior pocket.  It would be easy  to keep a  personal document ( e.g an international passport ).

There will be no OD of the Duck.

It starts out life a little stiuffer than the 21oz selvedge denim, but soon softens up.
