Picked these up for a steal on Marrkt.

Wanted a pair of Fracap boots for ages, but have been holding out for a pair that really spoke to me.

Very, very happy with these.

@Karol these look great! I’ve had a pair for some time and they have always been my favorite Red Wings. The Amber Harness leather was super comfortable from the jump.

I'm far from a boot expert, but materials and construction seem great.

Anyone owning the combat boots from John Lofgren? Could you share your long term experience?

@stichdown-shell How long have you been wearing them? How is the experience with these? They have a slimmer waist, is that of any concern when it comes to comfort wearing them all day long? How is the sizing on these? I read sizing should be the same as your Red Wing, but that is not true in my case. I'm a US 10 on Iron Ranger and a 10 on these gave me a lot of heel slippage. A US 9.5 was way more comfortable, but given that the toe box is so hard when new, I cannot say if this is going to be comfortable, but at least I can say that it does not crush my toe. So, your experience on sizing would be of great help.

I'm considering the black CXL, just because of the versatility.
