At SKT. 21L and 19L are 2 different animals. The 21L is very soft and pliable the 19L is stiff and rigit and tighter weave. The 19L fades faster and stays stiffer. Its unsanforized so you will get skew. But you brake them in and you will not need or go to another pair. At list thats how it worked for me.

Update, gave em a quick soak and wore them damp a couple of weeks ago. Think it’s sped things up a bit, lighter blues really coming through.

I can't wait to start wearing mine again now that things are cooling down a bit here----think you are right about the lighter blues popping more after a wash.
I think the 634 has become my fave cut.

@Jcaz6996 i would guess around 150 wear days - I don’t do wear them particularly hard other than lots of walking. You’ll smash yours in no time just like the jacket

@dinobarnesberlin yeah I’ve been looking forward to the cooler weather and wearing these more. Luckily the he 634 suits warmer weather due to the relaxed cut, I’ve found I can wear these up to about 26C before I get uncomfortable

Good point there @jerkules --the roomier fit does lend itself to warmer temps now that you mention it.
I just couldn't pass up the chance to wear shorts when we have the good weather here ---most of the time we have June-July and then winter!
but then again, with all of the climate change going on, the winters have been getting more mild these last few years.
Im going to wear these starting in a few weeks--then give them as much hell as possible.

Matter of time my mam. Mine are the v2 version so definitely older than yours. Keep wearing them and you will be very happy with the way they develop

You definitely should consider the 19L for your next jeans. Really rigid and dense but comfy all day.

Looking so good @jerkules, the whiskers look great. I gave up on my pair but maybe I’ll dig them out and try again this summer!

Thanks man @october-rust yeah this pair are quite fitted around the hips/waist so they’ve got some good fades around that area. Since they’re a bit looser around the knee the honeycombs are a bit more subtle but I really dig it!
