So the jacket went from Tromsø to Bodø... Please explain, for the ignorant Umlaut-loving German - where does the habit of crossing out letters originate to, and how do you actually pronounce that?

@tody it is just a single letter to represent a dipthong. Much tidier than the English habit of combining vowels in a random order then pronouncing them in three different ways.

Based on English phonetics:

Ø = urh
Å = ooh
Æ= aeh

There is a certain amount of rivalry between Tromsø and Bodø. Despite being an hour apart by plane, they’re the two northernmost cities. The Mack brewery where these beers are from is despised by many in Bodø, who refuse to drink it. I am not one of them For balance though, I just had the cold pilsner local to my town…
