I think you might be referring to the IHSH-08? That was a 16 oz fabric, in a superblack non-fade version and an SBG version. It was a western though, not a CPO. But also extremely stubborn! I was able to get the superblack version from @Clint_D a few years ago.

Dang it...my birthday is in June too and I've been searching for something to gift myself. Would be a great piece to wear in the fall time as well.
@Graham did you not soak it before washing? Wondering if the brief marbling is a result of which....not knocking it by any means, I like the way it looks and might skip a presoak if I end up giving in to the awesomeness that is this shirt.
@Graham I'm also curious about that soak and the washing parameters used to do the initial shrink. How did you guys do it?

@ARNC I'll definitely wear the CPO with SBG jeans, maybe not underneath the jacket though.

@Kasi you're an inspiration.
@Karol both Western and CPO samples underwent a shrink test so we could see how the denim behaves, which is why the image in the top post has some marbling. I don't recall off the top of my head but I expect it was the same settings we always use at IHUK, 30c, 800RPM for 30mins. Unsure if it was washed inside out etc. But yes, will definitely be treading carefully when giving my one in the initial soak after almost burning myself by going gung-ho when washing the Type III sample!

@Heavy_blue Last update was June. We always err on the side of caution with these estimates too as there as so many factors to take in to consideration. I suspect Late June/Early July.
Of course I will start making noise when they're in bound

@Heavy_blue Not too bad, I posted some shots of it here two weeks ago. Has had a fair bit of wear since then, so I'll take some more next week.
My lefty Type III has been on all week, I will post pics of that later!
then we have Mr. GAH and Mr. SBG
