IH-888SBR-14 - 14oz Broken Twill Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut

@sabergirl yeah!! I had a broken twill back in the days like 10 years ago or so a greencast broken twill, was one of my favorites! I’m in between the 634 or the 888 vibes but think i will grab one soo ! Let me know, please, how you like yours!

I’ll be sure to yammer on about it, here. I was conflicted about which cut to get, too. Actually had a pair of 634 squirreled away in my stack, just in case. But, with a lot of measuring help from Josh, I think that I found the right pair of 888.

@sabergirl I’m curious about the broken twill weave because I have zero experience with it. How does it behave stretch/shrink wise when compared to say the flagship 21 oz?

I’ll let you know when I’ve had some time to try out the IH version.

As a rule, I’d say there’s not much shrink or stretch in this type of weave. Definitely will be less than the 21 in terms of stretch, but then most denims are.

Amazing! Think in the near future i’ll grab the OD one, i’m very curious how this one in OD will fade

The OD looks dreamy, and I expect will become very soft. Wish I could swing both.

I got a pair of the 888 overdyed Broken twill and they are amazingly soft, more than any other 14 oz pair I own. Is that the effect of the broken twill weave? Will these straight indigo
be the same?

@Ohmayer1029 they are amazingly soft! Pajamas soft be like! They are soo nice! I had a 2 weeks straight in and then i switched to my 21oz Lefty and that was some getting used too enjoy them brother

I love them! I got some ranch dressing in my lap so they had their first machine wash/dry yesterday. There’s some nice electric blue popping out in a couple high wear points. They are very soft and easy to wear.

@sabergirl that’s awesome! How’s the stretch? I’m thinking of an OD pair but can’t land on size

There’s definitely a little stretch in there, but not a lot. I also got some shrink out of the machine wash and dry. Just a smidge, but it was noticeable.

@SKT indeed some stretch but not that much i went TTS and they were a little tight the first 2 days but are good now. Not as much stretch as a 21oz overall. Nor ally i’m a 34 in all the IH cuts i went with a 35 cause the OD shrunk the denim.
