@hoppy_IPA the yarns that loosened and loss some indigo during the wash was so rad had to bust out the macro lens and get a closer look. Just from the brief handling of this pair the one thing that struck me the most was the soft, smooth face of this denim. Definitely waiting in excitement for their return. Not too excited for the broken blue thumbs that await ???

@Smiladon You won’t be disappointed!!! Indigo Proof is a true denim wizard! I’ve gotten waists taken in and full leg tapers on a few pairs (one of which is 25oz) and you can’t even tell any work was done until you try the denim on. Their work is immaculate. Can’t go wrong entrusting your beloved IH’s to them.

@alexswords dude, Alex! I’m so flattered by your praise. Heavyweight denim has been an absolute game changer for work. The protection barrier (mentally & physically) between flesh & the skin crawling, vomit inducing, nightmarish conditions that seem to be a common theme with the jobs the crew & I have been assigned to has helped keep my sanity intact and legs unscathed! Haha but for real tho, watching your pair evolve had me coveting the XHSib denim for the last year and a half or so. Happy to finally have copped a pair. Hope you’ll continue to keep the fades going on yours would love to see how far you’re able take them!

I was thinking the same thing, I can’t imagine wearing my XHS in temperatures higher than 75 degrees Fahrenheit, and I usually save them for temps below freezing (I have too many pairs in rotation so I decide my rotation based on climate lol). Hats off to @RoxRocks86 got the dedication and bravery.

1. Stupidity and recklessness
2. Personal tolerance
3. FitAs for points 2 & 3 I can only conclude that my legs can survive XHS when it’s warm since the fit is not skin tight and easy to move in. Also needs to be a breezy and low humidity type of day

@twin question for you. which of the two XHSib fit do you prefer between the 555 and the 777. did you have to make any size adjustments going from the higher to the lower rise? I'm probably going to pull the trigger on a pair and was just wondering what you thought.

@alexswords I like the fit of the 777 more then the 555. A little tighter on the top block. Went with my regular size 34. I would pull the trigger on the 777S.

Copped! Loved my 888XSHib, I enjoy the 777 cut a little more. IB is such a great denim

@twin you wasted no time getting your new pair of IBs to fade! Are they really that blue (back pocket edges) once they start shedding indigo? Looks fantastic

@alexswords all i know from my one time trying these on is that I took your advice and went down a size, lucky for me they offered a 35 in these, and I can get them on, but they fit like a tight glove. In a good way
From the initial try on, they are as close to my dream fit as it comes. I've come to love the RGT SK fit and these are pretty close…
I'm still curious what the 19oz 777sib are going to look like measurement wise. And if they come out before October 10th, I might have to check them out too. SO many jeans to choose from!In other words, I'm super excited to beat the crap out of these, come October!
