Next pair will be 25oz for sure…not sure which version yet, but I think the struggle to see who's boss would be a blast.

@bob_z and @twin both of your fits look spot on! I love how the different light in the pictures brings out different qualities in this denim. There is an amazing complexity to the XHSib where in some light it looks jet black, in other really dark navy, and in other light it seems to have a slight purple cast to it. -
Well, this unexpected purchase happened. Measurements were similar to the og XHS so couldn’t resist.
Didn’t try them on so no fit pics atm. As soon as they landed took a few pics, measured them, then sent them on their way to Indigo Proof.
For now just playing with the hem cut-offs. Ended up washing one for shrinkage purposes.
This little guy ended up landing on my head for a quick look at the denim. He seemed quite interested in them & just stuck around. Might have to pick up a pair for him, we’re probably the same size

@hoppy_IPA the yarns that loosened and loss some indigo during the wash was so rad had to bust out the macro lens and get a closer look. Just from the brief handling of this pair the one thing that struck me the most was the soft, smooth face of this denim. Definitely waiting in excitement for their return. Not too excited for the broken blue thumbs that await ???

@Smiladon You won’t be disappointed!!! Indigo Proof is a true denim wizard! I’ve gotten waists taken in and full leg tapers on a few pairs (one of which is 25oz) and you can’t even tell any work was done until you try the denim on. Their work is immaculate. Can’t go wrong entrusting your beloved IH’s to them.

@alexswords dude, Alex! I’m so flattered by your praise. Heavyweight denim has been an absolute game changer for work. The protection barrier (mentally & physically) between flesh & the skin crawling, vomit inducing, nightmarish conditions that seem to be a common theme with the jobs the crew & I have been assigned to has helped keep my sanity intact and legs unscathed! Haha but for real tho, watching your pair evolve had me coveting the XHSib denim for the last year and a half or so. Happy to finally have copped a pair. Hope you’ll continue to keep the fades going on yours would love to see how far you’re able take them!

I was thinking the same thing, I can’t imagine wearing my XHS in temperatures higher than 75 degrees Fahrenheit, and I usually save them for temps below freezing (I have too many pairs in rotation so I decide my rotation based on climate lol). Hats off to @RoxRocks86 got the dedication and bravery.

1. Stupidity and recklessness
2. Personal tolerance
3. FitAs for points 2 & 3 I can only conclude that my legs can survive XHS when it’s warm since the fit is not skin tight and easy to move in. Also needs to be a breezy and low humidity type of day
