Currently I’m keeping an eye on a suspicious and large dead branch looking over the Tin Palace. I was alerted to it when the biggest pileated woodpecker I’ve ever seen started knocking big pieces of bark from it onto my roof. As I type this there’s a cacophony of woodpecker sounds throughout the campsite. It’s as if Alfred Hitchcock has remade The Birds entirely with woodpeckers. That’s awesome @twin
Cuyahoga Day 1 was pretty cool. This is one of the newer parks and is classified as an urban park. We had to drive from area to area through the town but all the major features were easily accessible from the parking lot in case you happen to be dragging small children with you who can’t manage a .8 mile hike to an awesome waterfall. We’ll be back for another visit before we leave. Tonight we’re doing pizza and the drive in movie to see Bill & Ted. The girls haven’t seen either Bill & Ted before so this will be a treat for us all. Mostly me though. Be excellent to each other.
